Horse whispering is so last year. Instead of whispering sweet nothing to your horse, learn how to listen to what your horse has to say. By building two-way communication between you and your equine partner, you can become more attuned with your horse and build a strong and lasting partnership based on friendship and trust.
Our Equine Encounters sessions are suitable for all ages and experience levels. Regardless of whether you are an experienced rider, an absolute beginner, or have never interacted with a horse before, we encourage you to come and learn more about horses! It could be a life-changing experience and the start of an exciting and profound new journey.
Do you need to escape the city rat race and take time out to smell the roses? The clean country air beckons. Bring your horses and your dogs and come enjoy scenic trails overlooking canola fields and the Tradouw Pass. We have a wide range of accommodation facilities to choose from. Secure horse camp and dog care service are also available.
Longing for a country retreat? Pack your bags, load your horse (or come and meet ours), and head for the hills. You can even bring your dogs along too! We are located in the scenic foothills overlooking the Tradouw Pass.
We offer informal educational workshops that are fun and interactive. Perfect for school groups, new horse owners, those wanting to learn how to care for a horse, or for those who just want to spend some time in the company of horses while also learning some useful new skills.
E-learning with a difference! We host school groups, care organizations, and other groups in a beautiful natural environment where we facilitate educational interactions with our herd of happy horses. Sessions are adapted for the specific age of the target audience. We offer horses riding lessons too.
Regardless of your age or experience level, you can come and interact with horses on a personal level. You will soon discover that horses are powerful healers and amazing teachers. But beware, once the bug has bitten, there is no going back. You could very well become a newly converted horse addict!
Aim: Our team is passionate about animal welfare issues. As equines are arguably one of the most abused animals on the planet, we hope to make a difference by helping humans to understand and communicate with horses a little better.
Horses: We have 16 horses from various backgrounds in our care. Most have been rescued and rehabilitated, or are currently in the process of being rehabilitated. By supporting us, you are supporting our rescue & rehabilitation efforts.
